Senior swing thoughts short game

Im New
As my most consistent class shot in the last few months has been the 20-50yd 60deg wedge and 5-25 yd chips with various clubs here are my thoughts
Pitching I may slap/hinge or hitnhold not yet clear But you can do this on the hardest of surfaces such as my locker room floor!
Why Im good at them
I control the club(i hardly want it to move) with my right arm, my body turn and feet provide the controlled acceleration for chips, my right hand adds for pitch
Best Drills
Right hand only, Split hands, towel under arms, take it back /Stop/ move through collect the ball
Its the golf swing in miniature,your left leg still takes you up through the ball!
Sometimes you can still feel the shaft release even on short shots

Interesting thoughts of yours, appears you are an accomplished player. I am dealing with full swing only but glad to hear and learn something from short game realm.
What I can confirm is that with a longish flat spot you can swing as hard as you want on wood full swing with a great results. I use a wooden mat with short artificial grass on it for excersises, so to speak.
